Evaluation Tool from DfES

Detail

The Department for Educatation and Skills has developed a self evaluation tool for citizenship. The self-evaluation process enables school leaders and co-ordinators to chart progress systematically in developing citizenship education in their own school. This tool helps school leaders to take a more holisitic approach to citizenship education which links the components of; citizenship in the curriculum, citizenship in the school community and citizenship in the wider community beyond school.

An interactive version of this tool is available on the National College of School Leadership website.
